We are working on getting things ready for the season. There are always new and exciting things going on, and we are frantically working behind the scenes to get things ready. It looks like we will not be using the new age groupings for this year. Next year we will be. We were told that the WLF was accepting the new groupings, so therefore we followed suit. Something happened inbetween then and last week and all of a sudden the WLF wasn't going to comply this year with the new age groupings, so back to the old ones we go! If you are wondering the rational, it is this. If we went with the new age guidelines, when we played outside of the Bay Valley Conference we would essentially be playing up, and our kids would be at a huge disadvantage.
Registration and Indoor Practices:
I am working on getting the website ready. We are looking at changing our clothing supplier to Dicks Sporting Goods and to do that we may need to change our website as well. So stay tuned. Regardless I want to get online registration ready by Jan 31st, if not before. I have updated the calendar to reflect our indoor practices at Greenheck. I don't know who will be when yet. The summer schedule is in there as well.
Greenheck is redoing the floor around spring break therefore we lose access for 2 of those weeks.
Also, Greenheck is running the try lacrosse for free and the intro to lacrosse clinics this year.
Free Intro - Feb 19
Lacrosse Clinic - Feb 25, March 5, 12, 19. You have to register directly through them.
They are not using Wolfpack Coaches and I am not sure about how they will work equipment.
There was something in Greenheck's calendar that reflected a summer league. Please be aware that is not Wolfpack affiliated at all.
In order to come to any or all of the indoor practices you have to be registered. Only exceptions will be new kids that may want to come try a practice with Wolfpack before signing up. They have to contact me first 715-302-5562.
First year players only receive protective equipment free of charge and a helmet for a $25 rental fee. They must have their own stick.
